About Iuliia Nikitenko
Iuliia Nikitenko is a collaborating member of the Institute for Philosophical Studies (Coimbra) and a PhD student at the University of Coimbra. Her current research aims to explore the reception of the Neoplatonic philosophy by the authors of the Coimbra Jesuit Course. Nikitenko has a Master's degree in the history of philosophy from the Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University, and a Master's degree in philology from Saint Petersburg State University (Russia). Her professional experience includes working as a leading librarian at the National Library of Russia (Saint-Petersburg) charged with creating the detailed descriptions of early European printed books (15-18 c.) for the e-catalog of the library. Nikitenko's research interests are Renaissance Platonism and Aristotelianism, Renaissance courtly ethics, and the reception of early modern Aristotelianism on Slavic territories.
